the gallery Espai d’Art Miquela Nicolau, in Felanitx, will expose work of artist DAVID MARTIN under the titel Evolution, trapped in life from the 17 of January to 8 of Mars of 2009, the exhibition is patronized by "Consell Insular de Mallorca", in the project New Presences.

David Martín Castaño was born 1978 in Palma de Mallorca.
Even if he always has been doing experience in the world of art in a self-taught way he attended his first official studies of art in “l'Antiga Escola d'Art de Palma” where he took his artistic baccalaureate..
Year 2000 he moved to Barcelona where he studied graphical design in “l'Escola d'Art Pau Gargallo de Badalona”
At the moment he lives and works in Palma

Concepts are of relative importance when we take conciousness of own life.
Evolution, trapped in life, pretends to provoke espectator´s reflection, considering the origins of life and its development process.
All these thoughts guided David Martiín to varied graphical expression methods that explain a concept, an idea or a
situation, reflections of our steps in the world.
